Shinseiki, Asian Pear

      A reliable producer, Shinseiki produces delicious crisp and juicy fruit with a very refreshing, mild, sweet flavor. Fruit is medium sized and is excellent for fresh eating or drying and they also store well in a refrigerator. The trees have an upright growth habit and are vigorous and heavy bearing (usually by the 2nd year after planting).  Fruit ripens in late summer. Moderate fireblight resistance.

Self-fruitful (this variety can produce its full potential of fruit on it’s own).
