Columnar Apple

​             Originating from a Canadian breeding program, these remarkable, space-saving Columnar Apple tree varieties form a compact spire loaded with striking blossoms and delicious fruit. They are an attractive complement to the landscape, patio, or deck. Growing naturally in this unique pillar shape, Columnar Apple trees bear fruit along the main trunk on their permanent fruiting spurs. They can also produce short upright branches that grow up to 2 feet long, which can be left to increase fruit production or pruned off to save more space. They will naturally grow 10-12 feet in height, but can be topped at whatever height you desire.  Our columnar varieties are disease-resistant, very productive and will often bear several fruit the year after planting.
