This erect growing variety produces abundant crops of sweet, and large fruit of excellent quality. It is the most winter-hardy erect blackberry variety available to USDA zone 6 and may be pushed into zone 5 with winter protection. Ripens midseason. Apache is generally agreed to be one of the best tasting thornless blackberry varieties.
Self-fertile (can produce fruit on it’s own).
